Individuals can now apply for their own working with children check. Further details can be found on this link. Camp Australia may still initiate the application process on your behalf. Send a request email to records@campaustralia.com.au with the following details:
Once Camp Australia has finished the initial process of the application, the Screening Unit will send an email to the applicant with the login and password details. Applicant can then login and complete the application. WWCC fee is $113.30. To get a Catholic Police Check, DECD check, and CESA screening check, send an email to records@campaustralia.com.au together with your current WWCC/valid DCSI or your unique ID (located at the approval email sent by the screening unit). These checks are free, and application should be processed within 3-4 weeks. |

Steps on how to apply for a WWVP in ACT:

Working with Children Check |
To get your Working with Children Check in New South Wales, you need to complete the online application and receive your applications (APP) number. You must then take your application number along with proof of identity to an NSW Motor Registry, RMS Agency, or Service NSW office (not your local Council). As this is a paid position, you will be required to pay $80. Your application should be processed within a few days, and your number will be emailed to you. However, please allow four weeks before being in contact to enquire about your application's progress, as it can take longer if you have a common surname or a criminal record. To apply for a Blue Card in Queensland, you may either complete the online application form or download the form here and email a scanned version to records@campaustralia.com.au for a Camp Australia representative to complete the organisation details. We will then send the signed application form back to you for you to upload to Blue Card services website and pay for the fee. As this is a paid position, you will be required to pay $92.30. Your application should be processed and sent to you within four weeks. To get your Work with Vulnerable People (Children) Registration in Tasmania, you need to complete the online application form, then lodge it at a Service Tasmania. You must take the application summary and receipt that you printed after completing the online application form, and documents that prove your identity with you. To apply for a Working With Children Check in Western Australia, you need to obtain an Application for a WWC check form from an authorised Australia post or you may contact the WWC Screening unit at 1800 883 979. Bring your application form to the nearest Camp Australia service to have the organisation details completed by a Camp Australia representative. Lodge your application form in person at an authorised Australia post outlet together with your 100 point proof of identity and the required fee. As this is a paid position, you will be required to pay $87. Your application should be processed and your WWC Card should be sent to you within two weeks.
