About the Role

As the State Operations Manager, you’ll work under the guidance of the General Manager while overseeing our highest-value services to ensure they meet and exceed quality standards. You’ll lead a team of Regional Managers and educators, supporting them to deliver exceptional care and drive enrolment growth across the state.

You’ll play a key role in safeguarding children, enhancing learning outcomes, and ensuring operational systems and workforce planning are aligned to demand and strategic priorities. You will also collaborate closely with the Partnerships Manager to strengthen and retain the State portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead service delivery across NSW, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework
  • Drive operational and financial performance across your portfolio
  • Coach and develop Regional/Area Managers to achieve performance, growth, and enrolment targets
  • Monitor enrolments and implement strategies for sustainable growth
  • Build strong relationships with schools, families, regulators, and industry bodies

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in OSHC, childcare, or a related sector
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of the NQF and compliance standards
  • Business acumen and understanding of P&L
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
