We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and passionate Compliance Officer to work closely with our Child Safety and Inclusion Partner and our WA operations team. In this role, you’ll help deliver high-quality, compliant programs across our services, ensuring we meet and exceed our obligations under the National Quality Framework, Child Protection laws, and other relevant regulations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Ensure compliance with Camp Australia's Governance Framework and National Quality Framework.
  • Conduct audits and identify areas for improvement across WA services.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to educators and staff on compliance and best practices.
  • Work proactively to address and resolve any compliance issues with timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies, including regulators and key stakeholders, to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies
  • Keep abreast of changes to legislation and frameworks, implementing necessary adjustments to practices.
  • Travel across WA services as required, offering support, training, and advice to local teams.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an operations role, ideally within the childcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights to improve operational outcomes.
  • Experience in managing compliance audits and addressing non-compliance issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with BI tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable.
